Ello in Lammhult is a family business in the heart of Småland that has two production divisions at its facility in Lammhult. Ello in Lammhult Slaughter where we slaughter cattle and Ello in Lammhult Charcuterie which produces several classic traditional dishes, such as isterband and sylta.

Currently, we have about 20 people in our slaughter operations and we are looking for a new employee for our animal barn.

What does the job entail?

As a barn employee, you will work with our animal welfare officer and together you will have a significant responsibility in our animal care efforts. Practically, this means that you will jointly be responsible for the reception, housing, and management of live livestock. The position will involve on-site training with us to gain the specific professional knowledge required for the job.

The position is full-time and working hours are daytime between Monday and Friday.

Who are you?

We believe that you have a high school diploma or other education and/or work experience that is deemed equivalent, as well as experience in physical work. Experience in similar work in a barn environment and familiarity with firearms from, for example, hunting is desirable.

As a person, you are positive, stress-resistant, responsible, and methodical in your way of working. In the role of barn employee, you need to be able to collaborate closely with your nearest colleague and enjoy working with animals.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the capacity for physically demanding work. We also place great importance on your personal qualities and primarily value your ability to collaborate and your willingness to learn and develop in your role.
